Weekly Evening Workshops for Women
Small group workshops allow women to come together, support one another and explore their ongoing recovery, often using as a framework the best in self-help literature. Over the past several years I have utilized the works the Brene Brown and Elizabeth Lesser, among many others. Topics covered have included body image, mindfulness, vulnerability and how to lead an authentic life, as well as numerous related and equally diverse topics. These workshops are scheduled on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, usually in 6-week segments.
Recent examples of workshops include Brene Brown’s “Surviving the Wilderness”, Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Big Magic” and discussion of Dr. Craig Malkin’s “Rethinking Narcissism”.
