Small group workshops allow women to come together, support one another and explore their ongoing recovery, often using as a framework the best in self-help literature. Over the past several years I have utilized the works the Brene Brown and Elizabeth Lesser, among many others. Topics covered have included body image, mindfulness, vulnerability and how to lead an authentic life, as well as numerous related and equally diverse topics. These workshops are scheduled on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, usually in 6-week segments. Most recent workshops involved Brene Brown’s “Surviving the Wilderness” and Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Big Magic”. The next workshop will start in August.
