Small group workshops allow women to come together, support one another and explore their ongoing recovery, often using as a framework the best in self-help literature. Over the past several years I have utilized the works the Brene Brown and Elizabeth Lesser, among many others. Topics covered have included body image, mindfulness, vulnerability and how to lead an authentic life, as well as numerous related and equally diverse topics. These workshops are scheduled on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, usually in 6-week segments. I am currently facilitating a 6-week workshop discussing Brene Brown’s newest book, “Surviving the Wilderness”, and will begin a new workshop in 2018 involving “Big Magic” by Elizabeth Gilbert.
